RoSPA and the IATP Approved
Asbestos is probably the most dangerous building material ever used. Every year thousands of people fall ill and die because of exposure to asbestos and it was widely used by the construction industry right up until the year 2000.
This is why all workers employed or self-employed who may come across asbestos or asbestos-containing materials ( ACMs) on a construction site must be trained so that they can work safely.
In this online course approved by ROSPA and the IATP, both leading industry bodies, you will learn:
The Asbestos Awareness ROSPA and IATP approved helps employers to comply with the law, as the workers completing this course are trained to work safely.
Being aware of the products that are likely to contain asbestos and the risks associated with them give workers and supervisors the information they need to avoid work that may disturb asbestos.
On successful completion of the course you will be able to download a quality assured certificate .
This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit. The certificate displays the RoSPA and IATP accreditations.
The Asbestos Awareness certificate does not have an expiry date. The recommended renewal period for this training is 1 year. This is printed on your certificate.
