One day, three stages
Face-to-face, in a real classroom, with trainers who put you at ease. Bring photo ID; we take care of everything else.
Morning
The GQA Level 1 Award in Construction Health & Safety - interactive classroom training with multiple-choice assessments as you go. Ofqual regulated, and the certificate never expires.
Afternoon
The GQA Health & Safety test - an approved equivalent to the CITB HS&E test - invigilated at our approved centre. Your result is confirmed the same day, and revision plus one free resit are included if you need them.
Before you leave
We administer your GQA CSCS Labourer Card application on your behalf - card ordering and admin fees included. Your digital card details arrive within days; the card follows by recorded delivery, and we update you on WhatsApp at every step.

We do all three in a single day at our Queensbury centre - you train in the morning, sit the invigilated GQA Health & Safety test in the afternoon, and we administer your card application before you leave. No chasing, no waiting lists, no second appointment.
Fast never means loose here. We're a GQA Qualifications Approved Centre (00467), and our external quality audits have been passed with excellent results - earning us Low Risk Centre status, the auditors' way of saying our standards look after themselves. The card you earn with us stands on solid ground.
Nerves fail more tests than ability does. Our trainers take the time to put you at ease - explaining everything in plain language, checking understanding as you go, and going back over anything that hasn't landed yet. Extra care and guidance isn't an add-on here; it's how we teach.
One free resit is included - and before you sit it, we retrain you on the areas that caught you out, until you're ready. We measure our day by how many people leave with a pass, not by how many sat in the room.

You use the same Level 1 Award in Construction Health and Safety certificate for every renewal - no added costs. Issued through GQA Qualifications, the Q-Card CSCS Alliance card scheme partner - same industry colour scheme, verified by employers on the CSCS Smart Check app.

Plenty of providers will train at your premises. Very few can bring the approved test too. As a GQA Approved Centre and CITB Approved Internet Test Centre, we deliver the whole package at your venue - trainer, course materials and invigilated testing under exam conditions, arranged in accordance with our approved-centre requirements. Your workforce is trained, tested and has card applications administered in a single day, without losing anyone to travel.

Your card is issued by CSCS at GQA Qualifications' request and sent by CSCS directly to you by post, by recorded delivery - someone needs to be home to sign for it. We'll message you when it's on the way.
Your card details reach your phone within days of a successful application.

All training and testing is delivered in English. Our team speaks English, Romanian, Polish, Spanish and Portuguese - for any questions, leave us a message in the language you're most comfortable in.

Our training and testing centre is at 26–27 Freetrade House, Lowther Road, Queensbury, HA7 1EP - North West London, a short walk from Queensbury Station on the Jubilee line, with straightforward road links via the M1 and A41.
Central London (Baker Street) around 25 minutes · Wembley Park just 2 stops - about 5 minutes · East London (Stratford or Canary Wharf) around 50 minutes, no changes.
Luton around 35 minutes via the M1 · Milton Keynes around 55 minutes via the M1 · Slough around 40 minutes via the M40/A40.
If travelling to us doesn't suit your team, remember - we deliver the whole package at your venue, anywhere in the UK. Groups normally start at 6; smaller groups considered.

Good to know
Course days run on Fridays at Queensbury, with weekend courses available on request. Training and test complete in one day; we then administer your card application - cards are issued by the scheme following successful completion and approval, and we update you on WhatsApp until yours arrives.
