IF YOU WORK AS A DRY LINING FIXER, THIS NVQ LEVEL 2 IS YOUR SUPER FAST ROUTE TO GETTING YOUR BLUE CSCS CARD

As a dry lining fixer you could be carrying out 1st and 2nd fix jobs, installing MF ceilings, setting out stud walls, building and repairing metal stud partition walls, building encasements or erecting walls over three meters high.

To be considered a competent dry lining fixer, you require minimum supervision in carrying out your day-to-day jobs on site.

We know that not all dry lining fixers are involved in the same activities and there are different ways in which you can be assessed to prove your competency. This is why you will be allowed to choose a personalised route to complete and meet the criteria for the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Dry Lining Fixing (Interior Systems).

Together with your assessor you will decide on the easiest way of proving your work competency in installing dry lining systems and plasterboard linings in your workplace in order to receive your NVQ diploma.

We will also check via simple tasks your knowledge and competency in working at heights, calculating quantities and wastage, using powered and hand tools and equipment.

CITB Grant Recovery
If your company pays grant to CITB ( CITB LEVY) they can recover £600 off YOUR NVQ, once you are certificated.
