If you work as a multi-trader or handyman, this NVQ level 2 is your super fast route to the qualification behind your blue CSCS card

As a multi-trader / handyman you will be working in repairing, refurbishment and maintenance of buildings.

We know that not multi-traders / handymen are involved in the same activities and there are different ways in which you can be assessed to prove your competency. This is why you will be allowed to choose a personalised route to complete and meet the criteria for the NVQ Level 2 Diploma.

Together with your assessor, you will decide on the easiest way of proving your work competence as a multi-trader or handyman choosing to prove your skills in 2 or more trades from the below list:

  • Carpentry and Joinery
  • Painting and Decorating
  • Wall and Floor Tiling
  • Plastering
  • Maintenance Roofing
  • Maintenance Bricklaying

We will also check through simple tasks your knowledge and competence in working at heights, delivering reliable customer service, moving, handling and storing resources, calculating quantities and wastage, using powered and hand tools and equipment.
