If you work as a partitioner, this NVQ level 2 is your super fast route to the qualification behind your blue CSCS card
As an interior systems partitioner, you could be involved in installing partition Systems, or removing and relocating partition systems including doors, trims/mouldings and junctions to the working instructions given to you.
You are considered a competent interior systems partitioner if you require minimum supervision in doing your day-to-day job tasks.
We know that not all wall and floor tilers are involved in the same activities and there are different ways in which you can be assessed to prove your competency. This is why you will be allowed to choose a personalised route to complete and meet the criteria for the NVQ Level 2 Diploma.
Together with your assessor, you will decide on the easiest way of proving your work competence. We will also check through simple tasks your knowledge and competence in:
- installing partition systems
- removing and relocating partition systems
- moving, handling and storing resources
- working at height
- calculating quantities and wastage
- using powered and hand tools and equipment
