The qualification for the people who keep sites running - logistics, traffic and materials operations. Demonstrate your competence in your real workplace, assessed remotely or on site with no exams and no classroom, and open your route to the Blue CSCS card.

If you carry out site logistics work with minimum supervision - managing deliveries and traffic, distributing and storing materials, keeping pedestrian and vehicle routes safe, handling waste, supporting plant and hoist operations - this qualification turns your day-to-day role into a nationally recognised NVQ.

It's built so that employees from companies of every size and specialism have an equal opportunity to complete, always working to industry-recognised safe practices and relevant legislation.

GQA Level 2 NVQ Diploma, qualification number 603/6964/4. Typical completion is 4-8 weeks, working with your assessor and work-based recorder for evidence gathering, observations and professional discussions.

Site visits are part of the NVQ process. They are carried out remotely or on site, and we decide which with you at your NVQ induction online meeting, around your site and your schedule.

Your evidence comes from the site work you're already doing. Don't collect anything yet - your assessor plans it with you at onboarding. It will look like this:

  • Photos of you managing deliveries - checking loads in, signing delivery notes, directing vehicles
  • Materials distribution and safe storage - stacking, protecting, moving with aids or plant support
  • Keeping routes safe - pedestrian and vehicle segregation, signage, barriers, housekeeping
  • Waste management - segregation into the right skips, waste transfer records where you handle them
  • Videos of 3-5 minutes of you carrying out work tasks in which you explain what you are working on and how you are doing it - a workmate can film on a phone
  • Site logistics plans, briefings and site documents with your name, plus a witness statement from your supervisor (we provide the template)
